E-Huru Cancellation Policy

At E-Huru, we understand that plans can change. Whether you're a customer or a service provider, we aim to provide flexibility while ensuring fairness for all parties involved. Please review our cancellation policy below to understand how cancellations are handled on our platform.

1. Cancellation by Customers

  • Service Cancellation Before Provider Acceptance:

    • Customers can cancel any booking at no charge before the service provider has accepted the request.
  • Service Cancellation After Provider Acceptance:

    • If the customer cancels a confirmed booking after the service provider has accepted it, the following cancellation fees may apply:
      • Within 24 hours of the service date: The customer may be charged a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the service fee.
      • Less than 24 hours before the service date: The customer will be charged the full service fee.
  • No-Show Policy:

    • If a customer fails to be present at the agreed time without prior cancellation, they will be charged the full service fee.

2. Cancellation by Service Providers

  • Service Provider Cancellations:

    • Service providers are expected to honor all accepted bookings. If a provider needs to cancel after accepting a job, they must notify the customer immediately.
    • Cancellation Penalties: Frequent cancellations may affect the service provider’s rating and standing on the platform, potentially leading to suspension from E-Huru.
  • Emergency Cancellations:

    • In case of an emergency, service providers may cancel without penalties. However, they are required to communicate with the customer as soon as possible.

3. Refund Policy

  • Eligible Refunds for Customers:

    • Full refunds will be granted for cancellations made by the customer before the service provider has accepted the booking.
    • Partial refunds may be provided for cancellations within 24 hours of the service, depending on the circumstances and timing.
    • If the service provider cancels the booking, customers will receive a full refund.
  • Non-Refundable Services:

    • Services rendered in full or those canceled within less than 24 hours are generally non-refundable unless a provider has failed to deliver the agreed service.

4. Dispute Resolution

If there is a disagreement regarding a cancellation or service completion, E-Huru’s customer support team will mediate. We encourage both parties to communicate clearly to avoid any misunderstandings.

5. Changes to the Cancellation Policy

E-Huru reserves the right to modify or update this cancellation policy at any time. We will notify users of any changes by posting the updated policy on our platform. Continued use of our services after any such changes will constitute your acceptance of the revised terms.
